LOCARIS – GPS WORLD MAP PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Locaris – GPS World Map (“Locaris,” “the App”) is provided by [Developer Legal Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, used, disclosed, and protected when you use Locaris.
- INFORMATION AND DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Locaris does not require account registration. The current version does not display advertisements, use advertising SDKs, access IDFA, request App Tracking Transparency permission, or use information for cross-app tracking.
With your permission, Locaris may access your approximate or precise location to show your current position, find nearby places, provide maps, routes, traffic and distance information, display coordinates and direction, and add optional location information to GPS photos.
Locaris may access your camera when you use GPS Camera and may access your photo library when you choose to save, select, export, or share a photo. Photos remain on your device unless you deliberately save, export, or share them.
Locaris may use compass heading, device orientation, altitude, speed, or related sensor information to provide compass, navigation, measurement, and calibration features.
When you search for a city, address, landmark, route, or nearby place, the search term and related location request may be transmitted to the map, search, traffic, street-view, live-view, or AI service needed to return the result.
Depending on the provider, a request may include a search term, location, language, IP address, device information, and technical request data.
If you choose to share diagnostics with developers through Apple, we may receive crash reports, performance information, device model, operating-system version, and related technical information.
- HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information is processed only as necessary to provide Global Live Views, AI Street Map, World Landmarks, Global Flight, GPS Camera, Live Traffic, Distance Measurement, Smart Compass, World Time, and Global Search.
Information may also be used to save content at your direction, respond to support requests, diagnose errors, improve reliability, verify purchases or subscriptions, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable legal requirements.
We do not use precise location, photos, search activity, live-view activity, or sensor information for targeted advertising.

We do not authorize third-party providers to use information received from Locaris for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.
- STORAGE, RETENTION AND DELETION
Locaris does not continuously track your location in the background and does not maintain a server-side history of your precise location.
Photos, saved places, recent searches, and preferences stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear them in the App where available, or uninstall the App.
Support communications, diagnostics, and transaction records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, investigate errors, verify purchases, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Third-party providers may retain request information according to their own privacy policies.
To request access to or deletion of information held directly by us, contact [Privacy Contact Email]. Information stored only on your device can be deleted through Locaris, iOS Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
- YOUR PERMISSIONS AND RIGHTS
You can review or revoke permissions through Settings > Privacy & Security or Settings > Locaris.
You may disable location access, choose approximate instead of precise location, disable camera access, limit photo access, stop sharing diagnostics, or manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.
Declining one permission may prevent the related feature from working, but it does not prevent you from using unrelated features.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a portable copy of eligible personal information.
- SECURITY, CHILDREN AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Locaris is a general-audience application and is not specifically directed to children below the age at which parental consent is required. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law.
Locaris and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
